After Christmas we headed to the mall – to exchange a huge jar of creme de La Mer my wonderful husband got me for Christmas. I could never use it all up before it goes bad, so we exchanged it for a whole set of my favorite La Mer products: firming mask, lifting contour serum and moisturizer.
I prefer smaller jars since I do not use a lot and many products just end up in the trash. All 3 of those are the perfect size:
Finally came around to baking an eclaire cake and cheese puffs. It is really my first time baking this cake. I shared a recipe 3 years ago (today) on facebook and just saw it in my memories.
Here is the pie crust:
And here is a finished product:
The recipe called for store bought vanilla pudding and cool wipping cream but instead I made from scratch the cream we use for eclaires and used fresh wipped cream.
And cheese puffs also a new recipe:
Got a yukata from Uniqlo today. It is not as nice as the silk one I got years ago but it is still very pretty.
Perfect for vacuuming and other housework:)
Dropping off kids in school
Today we are headed for the annual Brick Fest in Oaks PA, Greater Expo Center with the kids. Honestly it was a letdown – kids were not allowed to touch anything, it was overcrowded and poorly organized but Alejandro was still happy because hegot his R2D2 figurine.
I worn some Lemaire x Uniqlo pieces. The milano rib sweater is perfect for today’s weather over top of the cashmere blend tank in teal. I am also loving my wide leg tappered Lemaire pants. Too bad my size is sold out since those are perfect for the outings with the kids

Went to see the lego exhibition at the Franklyn Institute and it was amazing! Cannot believe all those things were made out of legos.
Towards the end of the day, when I planned to do some chores, couple of friend stopped by and we decided to come out to get some empañadas. we figured if we do not go this weelend, next weekend might be too crazy on the account of the Pope’s visit.
